Our services are designed with the weather in mind, so rain, snow, or shine, we have solutions for all seasons.
At Kodiak Pest & Lawn we believe that when you sign up for pest control service you should have as much service as you need whenever you need it. Simply put, that’s what our Unlimited Pest Control plan is.
We’ve made it simple, you pay a monthly fee and we are essentially on call to take care of your structural pest needs. Now, we don’t wait around for a call of a pest problem to happen though. We begin the program by attacking the source of your pest problems, and eliminating the current pest presence by completing two full treatments within the first 5 weeks of signup. Then we proactively treat your property every two months from the foundation of your home to the edge of your outdoor living space. This includes treatment of the foundation, eaves, door frames, window frames, weep holes and other potential entry points to your home and garage. But we don’t stop there, we also treat cracks, crevices, seams and edges of concrete, ornamental vegetation and beds, under raised decks, walkways, play structures, sheds, yard barriers, mow strips, and any other potential pest harborage sites in and around your outdoor living space. So you can see, with Unlimited Pest Control, the pests of the Big Horn Basin will have no place to hide on your property.
But wait, that’s not all. We also install kid and pet safe rodent bait stations around the exterior of your home to prevent mice and rats from taking up residence in your kitchen, walls, or attic. We service year round to ensure that these cute, furry little critters don’t try to warm themselves under your roof when things get frosty.
Our Unlimited Pest Control plan will control pavement, and odorous house ants, spiders, crickets, nesting wasps, pillbugs, and just about anything else with 6 or more legs that would have the audacity to crawl into your home.
Unlimited Pest Control has an initial service term of 12 months, but will continue on a month to month basis there after as it is intended as an indefinite solution to your pest control needs. Pesticides generally breakdown after 45-60 days, so with our proactive treatments occurring every two months you probably won’t need to call us for anything, but if you do need anything, at any time, we are just a phone call, email, or text away. That is the Unlimited Pest Control promise- we will promptly and effectively respond to any structural pest problem you find in your home or outdoor service area whenever you need. We will service as often as needed to ensure pests never thrive at your home.
Get the best value in the Big Horn Basin with our Unlimited Pest Control program.
If you’re like Mrs. Haslem and I we like our home to remain pest free, but we also like to maintain more of a natural micro-ecosystem in the garden. So we limit the spraying we do to just around our home and out about 10 feet or so. It has worked great, no pests make it inside the house, and we have plenty of ladybugs, predatory spiders, and the occasional preying mantis in the garden helping out with aphids and other unwanted 6 legged beasts. More importantly, we have more pollinating beetles around helping the bees (who we always strive to protect by not spraying flowering plants with any of our service plans) pollinate our flowers and making our fruit and veg grow.
So this year we’re proud to introduce the Gardener’s Pest Control program, it is identical to the Unlimited program in principle but has a much narrower scope of service area. Just like with Unlimited you pay monthly and we are on call for any structural pest issues that arise. As with Unlimited we proactively treat every two months to maintain a pest-free home with preventive measures. The only real and major difference is that with Gardener’s Pest Control service we are exclusively trying to keep pests from entering your home and garage, as opposed to eliminating pests from your outdoor living space. Now areas like your deck would also be covered as they would be attached to the main structure and would be treated as part of the home.
Also, since the service area is smaller, the price is even less than Unlimited!
So if you don’t want ants, spiders, or rodents invading your home, or wasps setting up shop under the deck, but you want to maintain a natural ecosystem in your garden. Or if you just want to save some money with a more basic pest control program, Gardener’s Pest Control is the perfect fit for you.
The 2 Shot is the ultimate solution for folks looking for a short term professional service. Whether you’re a “do it yourselfer” looking to get a seasonal head start on pests in spring, or someone just moving in or out looking to get the bugs cleaned out, without a long term commitment, the 2 shot is the right option for you.
The service areas can be the same as described in our Unlimited or Gardener’s programs, it just happens in 2 services rendered approximately one month apart, with a 30 day warranty.
Why 2 services instead of just one? That is an excellent question, and we have an equally excellent answer for it. We do two services about a month a part when we start any kind of pest control program because this process allows us to break the life cycle of any kind of arthropod. Pesticides don’t generally affect eggs, so while the first service will kill bugs that have hatched and begun to mature, the unhatched bugs will remain safe in the egg capsule. When they hatch a few weeks later we’ll be around in time to snuff them out before they can mature enough to produce a new generation of peace destroying little monsters.
The 1 Shot is just as it sounds, a one time service. Honestly we will rarely recommend this as it is essentially a band aid, because it doesn’t break the reproductive cycle of most pests, but it will completely neutralize anything crawling around at the time of the service. People consistently request a one time service, and so we deliver with high standards, but with no warranty. Sorry, you gotta break the reproductive cycle for one of those.
You might be asking yourself “what are systemic treatments?” Well the best way I can explain this, is that it’s like flea medicine for plants and trees, except instead of preventing fleas is prevents aphids, scale, and other tree sucking/boring bugs.
What are the benefits of systemic treatments? Well it protects your ornamental plants from diseases carried by insects and improves the overall health of the plant by keeping it pest free. We apply pesticides to the root zone of the plant/tree via drench method or root injection, the plant takes the pesticide into it’s vascular system and kills just about any pest that tries to suck it’s sap or bore into it. Systemic applications generally last up to a year, but they must be applied when the plant or trees first start taking up water (usually March thru May), for best results. They are most commonly used on ornamental trees and shrubs in residential settings but can be used on a myriad of plants many kinds of pests. Give us a call for more info 307-250-5356
